This day absolutely took our breath away. The love that Ashanti and Jerry share was so beautiful and pure, and their wedding day was joyful from start to finish! We loved that their ceremony was officiated by Jerry's former track coach, and his groomsman were 'the treaitors'... the guys he ran against in track. Ashanti looked stunning in her Justin Alexander dress from Bridal Boutique, especially coming down that breathtaking staircase at The Windsor at Hebron Park. This day was just perfect! If Steve and Jillian's trailer doesn't put you in the mood to party this weekend, we don't know what will! This day was SO joyful from start to finish, and it's obvious in their film. Their reception included everything from a family acoustic singalong of "American Pie" to a rap performance from cousin Mike, AKA "Big Moose". Top it all off with a performance of Bohemian Rhapsody played on pots and pans and that about sums up the night!! Watch all the fun in their highlight film here. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Schell! What a beautiful day at a beautiful venue with a beautiful couple!! Seth and Shelby are such a sweet pair, who met while studying at seminary. Their day had a vintage, romantic feel, and we loved their adventurous spirit. This is the first time a bride asked me if she could have video of the couple running away (to which I answered "Heck yes!" and Immediately got my slow motion ready to go).

We love the symbolic gesture of washing each other's feet that these two chose for their ceremony. This expression of Christ's humility is a perfect example for marriage, and we loved witnessing it. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Williams!

Whitney + Ethan // Wildwood Inn

Happy Memorial Day! We love the story of how the military brought Whitney and Ethan together. The two met in Afghanistan on Christmas Day in 2014. Whitney is an Air Force photojournalist and was covering a Christmas concert that Ethan (a dog handler in the Army) and his dog, Alex were attending. She snapped the perfect picture of Ethan (in a Santa hat) and Alex (in reindeer antlers), and the rest is history! We are so thankful this couple crossed our path, and loved sharing in their big day at the stunning Wildwood Inn. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Taylor!

Wow! Have you seen a more beautiful couple?? Laura and Phil chose the beautiful Chapel at Ana Villa for their day. It was our second weekend in a row shooting here, and it was the perfect setting for their elegant affair!

What stood out to us about Laura and Phil was the deep impact that family has had on their lives and their relationship together. We love seeing the sweet moments between this couple and their parents, and the obvious way that a lifetime of love has been an example for them to follow as they begin their new journey together. Good grief guys. Even as I write this post, I have tears in my eyes. Tears of joy, gratitude, and of the sheer amazement at God's goodness!! We met Alex through our small group at church, where he has been the leader for the past four years. To say he's like family wouldn't be true; he is family. When I think back on the countless times we sat around our living room, sharing stories both of victory and sorrow, I think of the many times I prayed for this day for him. I iprayed for a woman that would be a partner in life and a helper fit. The Lord was so faithful in bringing him Jessalyn!

These two were married in a beautiful intimate ceremony at St. Catherine's at Bell Gable in Fayetteville, Arkansas. It was a stormy morning, but the clouds parted just in time to give us a gorgeous day. We loved witnessing the love these two have for each other, and you will too. Watch their sneak peek here!

This day was so precious! Kelsey and Colin had such a sweet spirit, and obvious love for each other. I love the perfect mixture of class and country that these two incorporated in to their day. From their beautiful Catholic mass ceremony to their party-all-night reception at Uncle Bucks, every detail of this day fit Kelsey and Colin perfectly! These two met while in college, and their chance meeting turned in to a romance that is reminiscent of a fairy tale. While Beauty and the Beast may seem like an odd comparison, we love the way their priest incorporated the story in to the service. Watch their trailer here, and be sure to watch in HD! Brenham, Texas. Home to Bluebell, bluebonnets, and beautiful newlyweds Lauren and Peter! When Lauren and Peter invited us that share in their day at The Ant Street Inn, we were so excited! It was an opportunity to capture their love while also enjoying a weekend away from the city with my husband!

As Lauren's sister mentions in their video, there are many different types of love stories. What I loved about Lauren and Peter's day was the way that it showcased all of these love stories! Stories from every season of life, and each one as beautiful as the last.

These two share so much love for each other, and for a gracious God who brought them together. We had such a great time telling their love story, and know you'll love watching it!

A beautiful day, a picturesque setting, a stunning bride and... a llama? Of course. Because Briana and Thomas are just. that. fun. We loved being a part of this day!!

Briana and Thomas chose Classic Oaks Ranch in Mansfield for their day. The ranch was filled with fun animals, but a special guest was brought in specifically for Briana and Thomas. These two were engaged in Machu Picchu and fell in love with llamas on their trip! They had Lenny the Llama join them on their special day, and he even walked the aisle. This was a last minute decision that I wasn't expecting, and I had to work hard to keep from falling over laughing. Totally made my day!

Thomas and Briana's wedding had a beautiful boho vive that was executed perfectly by their planner Lucia Bitnar at Foster Blue! From their stunning naked cakes by Crème De La Crème bakery, to their intricate and beautiful florals from Justine’s Flowers, every detail was a dream.

Though their wedding was filled with all things pretty, the most beautiful thing about this couple was their love for each other, and their desire to honor God. Their ceremony was a celebration of that love, and a testimony of the Lord's goodness in their lives. We are thrilled for the new Mr. and Mrs. Damrwow!

This couple was a blast, and their wedding film proves it! Andre and Lovetta opted for an intimate winter ceremony at the Dallas Botanical Gardens, and they couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day.

What I loved most about these two was how much fun they have together! It was obvious in the way that they interacted with each other, that their marraige will be filled with laughter, joy, and a love for the Lord that will carry them through the hard times. We were thankful to share in their day and wish them the best in their new life together!

Morgan + Daniel // First Baptist Fairfield

This day. It was so special y'all. Morgan and Daniel are high school sweethearts from Fairfield, Texas, who have been together since they were juniors in high school. They both went to Texas A&M and were married in their hometown church; the same church where both families are members, where Morgan was baptized, and where Morgan's parents were married. Talk about life coming full circle!

Morgan and Daniel were best friends in high school before they started dating, and Morgan even told her mom that she was going to marry Daniel someday. Capturing the culmination of their love so far was both a joy and an honor for us!

One year ago today, we were celebrating the marriage of two very dear friends! Carley and Hudson are members of our church community group, who met when they were in High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. They chose the beautiful Dunleith Historic Inn in Natchez, MS as the location for their day. Their first look was so special, and will forever rank as one of our top wedding moments! This trip was special to us because it also marked our first vacation as a new family! We packed up the car and loaded up our six-month-old daughter as well as my in-laws (the best built-in babysitters, amiright?), and headed for Natchez. This historic town was so much fun, and we had a blast spending Mardi Gras weekend exploring and sharing in Hudson and Carley's day!

When Ryan-Grace asked us to be a part of her day, I was thrilled! My husband and I love New Orleans. It's a place we have visited many times but never as parents, and we were looking forward to sharing this city with our daughter, Charlotte. We had a a blast exploring, and seeing the city through the eyes of a child was so much fun! Charlotte loved eating beignets, seeing the horse drawn carriages, and most of all, chasing the birds.

Ryan-Grace and Michael's entire weekend was so much fun!! From the rehearsal at Arnaud's to the reception at The Ritz, every event was a celebration of the love these two share. The Katz and the Lane families know how to throw a party, and we loved being there to capture it! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Lane!

A very happy anniversary to Christina and John!! This was our very first wedding to shoot, and these two will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Christina and John shared beautiful vows in front of their family and friends at The Milestone in Aubrey, Texas. The ceremony was made even more special as John's grandfather was the presiding minister! The love these two share for each other is so fun and infectious, that we know you'll shed more than a few tears (like we did!).

It's 70 degrees in Texas today which obviously makes me think of... Christmas!! Carly and Blake's December 23 nuptials at Balmorhea Events in The Woodlands made for a Christmas to remember. Have you ever seen a more beautiful couple? These two literally took my breath away.

Every detail of their day was stunning, from the vintage furniture by Love Bird Vintage Rentals, to the floral arrangements by F. Dellit Designs; Rachel with Rachel D Weddings brought the whole day together seamlessly. But the most beautiful part of this day? The love that these two share. It's impossible to keep from getting ALL the feels when these two look at each other! Their love, joy and passion are palpable and we were so thankful to be there to capture it!

Congratulations Blake and Carly! We wish you the best, and know that this beautiful day is only the beginning of an even more beautiful journey together!
